OPR Memorial Teacher Training Institute was started in 2004 to give professional training in teaching to all the students especially to very poor women in and around Vadalur. At present 150 women students are taking training in the methods of teaching. The Institute is in quest of excellence by facilitating opportunity to harness total development and professional qualities. Our vision is to develop student teachers with 21st century teachers quality.

Separate Hostel adequate facilities for women, Mineral Water is provided in each and every Room, Fully qualified, well experienced and committed Lecturers.

Our large playground extending to around two acres houses a fully built basket ball, football and volley ball courts. Also, coaching facilities are available for badminton . Indoor games like table tennis and chess are given enough impetus and interested students are trained by dedicated and veteran professionals. Our traditional games like kho-kho and kabaddi are also focused upon along with yoga.
